Clinical and biological characteristics of adult biphenotypic acute leukemia in comparison with that of acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: a case series of a Chinese population

Biphenotypic acute leukemia is rare, necessitating large series to provide information on prognosis. In this paper Xu and colleagues review Chinese experience with this conditions. The findings of this study indicate that the prognosis of biphenotypic acute leukemia patients is poor when compared with de novo acute myeloid leukemia or acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
